#1 The Coffee Studio
Andersonville’s go-to for a cup of java celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2017, and owners Miguel and Lee are residents of the neighborhood. You can check them out here, and be sure to pick up a gift card for a friend if you’re compelled to do so.
#2 La Colombe Coffee Roasters
An Andersonville based coffee house, La Colombe is most noted for its vastly wide open space as well as its draft lattes. The Black and Tan is another one of their popular beverages.

You’ll have to stop in for a taste of their “United Nations of Coffee” moniker. Taking flavors from India and Turkey, Oromo also spikes their beverages with superfoods. No my friends, it’s not a typo, you read that right.

This coffee house, which sold to Peet’s in 2015, is known for its South American and African coffee blends. There are six locations in Chicago.
#5 Caffe Umbria
The hot chocolate’s on par with the coffee at this uniquely set River North establishment (you’ll find it in the historic Thompson building) which has its roots in the US coffee capital– Seattle.
