A close second is the significance of the Basilica to the artistic world. After its completion in 1615, St. Peter’s Basilica hosted several great artists. Vatican Museum

The Vatican Museum is the home to many religious relics in Rome. The museum began as a collection of a few statues and over time became the house to many national relics. The Trevi Fountain

To get to the fountain, you have to take one of three roads that join at the location of the fountain, hence the name (tre vie). There’s a legend that if you drop a coin into the fountain, you’ll eventually come back to Rome. Three statues make up this fountain. One on Neptune and two of Tritons. These statues are a sight to behold.
